Joshua Patton, DO is a highly accomplished sports medicine physician who completed his Fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and his Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he was Chief Resident. He holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Florida. Dr. Patton has served as a team physician for USF Division 1 Men’s Soccer and as an assistant team physician for professional teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Philadelphia Phillies.
Dr. Patton has a strong passion for supporting community health and for enabling athletes to heal and return to their sport as quickly and safely as possible. With experience as a college baseball player and growing up in Florida, Dr. Patton also has a special interest in treating patients with both throwing injuries and golf injuries.
