Event Summary

The laboratory training session will encompass both didactic and hands-on cadaveric instruction, focusing on the endoscopic approach for treating herniated nucleus pulposus. The training will specifically highlight the application of the HydroCision EndoJet discectomy device for performing endoscopic discectomy procedures. Participants will also have the unique opportunity to receive training on utilizing the TenJet device for addressing chronic gluteal tendinopathy.

Physician Audience

This event is designed for interventional pain management physicians who have a comprehensive understanding of spinal anatomy, physiology, and needle-based access techniques for contained disc herniations, particularly utilizing the Kambin triangle access method. It is  tailored for those looking to broaden their expertise by incorporating endoscopic discectomy procedures and ultrasound-guided tenotomy techniques using HydroCision’s Hydroresection technology.

Course Objectives

  1. Review of the EndoJet discectomy device, and the TenJet tenotomy device.
  2. Review the indications, contraindications, pre-op and post-op protocols for performing an endoscopic disectomy procedure.
  3. Describe and demonstrate the endoscopic discectomy surgical technique including identification of anatomical landmarks and the use of the EndoJet device to perform the discectomy.
  4. Review of the TenJet tenotomy device and its application for the ultrasound-guided treatment of chronic gluteal tendinopathy.
  5. Provide one-on-one, hands-on, wet lab technique instruction.

Travel Requirements and Accommodations

Physicians attending the event are responsible for covering their own travel expenses to and from the venue. Once travel arrangements are confirmed, HydroCision will manage and cover the cost of a one-night hotel stay at a conveniently located hotel.
